General Operator

Position Description:

The General Operator is responsible for a number of tasks related to the production process including buyt not limited to efficient sorting, stacking and reporting of finished product. 

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Making boxes, loading carton and manning the check weigh station
• Inspecting each finished case of product that moves down the conveyor
• Notify the Machine Operator if poor quality is noted
• Separate and stack each finished case by line number onto the proper pallet
• Complete end of line tasks once a pallet is full of finished product
• Ensuring the product meets quality standards
• Ensuring the warehouse is safe, clean and organized at all times
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Physical Demands

• Able to stand 8-10 hours a day
• Climb Stairs
• Wear personal protective equipment 
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Climb ladder as needed during cleaning process
