Job Purpose:

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of developmental requirements in pre-production projects. Works from rough schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.

Nature of Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to perform a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
• Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools and material handling equipment as needed
• Initiates process improvements of assigned working area.

Education & Experience: 

• Requires a minimum of 1- 2 years related experience of production and technical knowledge.
• High school diploma and college courses preferred.
• Must be able to lift and push up to 20 pounds
• Able to stand all day
• Able to communicate in English
• Able to use hand tools such as a Electric drivers
• Able to work 40+ a week
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines under supervision
• Read and understand prints and drawings.
