CNC Operator
Pay: $16 to $18
Core Responsibilities
- Setup & Calibration: Translate blueprints, CAD designs, and work orders to calculate dimensions and set up the correct cutting tools, attachments, and raw materials.
- Programming: Load or write instructions (often via G-code) into the CNC machine and conduct initial test runs to ensure accuracy before mass production.
- Machine Operation: Load and unload workpieces, supervise the active machining process, and make real-time adjustments to offsets and feeds to maintain tight tolerances.

- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify they meet quality standards.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform light, daily preventative maintenance on machinery and keep a strictly enforced clean and safe work environment.
