Job purpose

· Operate the Dry Ribbon Blender to mix dry powder blends

· Perform other duties and assigned

Duties and responsibilities

· Performs as line lead and will direct 2-3 associates as needed

· Read formulations and follow mixing instructions

· Record Lot from ingredients

· Physically adding ingredients

· Clean (Wet and dry clean) as needed

· Maintain and keep the blender room clean

· Drive pallet jack

· Strictly follow instructions on the batch-sheet

· Work with QA/QC to produce quality and safe products

· Complete all documents as required

· Understand the processing equipment

· Understand use and setup of all equipment

· Perform maintenance and cleaning

· Follow all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

· Previous machine experience or training required

· Must be able to read and write English

· Perform basic math (add, subtract, and multiply)

· Stand for long periods of time

Physical requirements

Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds
