Key Responsibilities
• Reassemble, fit, and torque components to precise tolerances following CMMs (Component Maintenance Manuals), IPCs (Illustrated Parts Catalogs), and other technical documentation.
• Conduct functional testing of landing gear systems post-overhaul.
• Document all maintenance actions in accordance with FAA and company standards, ensuring traceability and accuracy.
• Work closely with Quality Control, Engineering, and Planning departments to resolve technical discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with all FAA Part 145 requirements, EASA standards (if applicable), and customer specifications.
• Follow safety and FOD prevention procedures at all times.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in aviation maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft component assembly, with direct landing gear MRO experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of FAA Part 145 repair station operations and civil/commercial aircraft requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret CMMs, blueprints, service bulletins, and engineering specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches.
• Strong mechanical skills, manual dexterity, and keen attention to detail.
